Wander

Palette knife painting is new to me. I love the dramatically saturated, heavy oil application is gives a painting as well as the tactile quality. The architecture suggests a strong linear movement while the flora, fauna and sky provide a soft balance. Rather than attempting a photographic record of a particular scene, I am interested into experience of wandering through a beautiful old city-the architecture, flowers, signs, colors and unexpected details that make a place memorable.
